About Windsor Regional Library

In 1991, the Sonoma County Library began providing bookmobile service one day a week at the Lakewood Village Shopping Center. Bookmobile service was expanded in 1994 on a site adjacent to Windsor Town Hall. Serving as an interim branch, it was open Wednesday through Saturday. In 1996, when the Town of Windsor offices moved to a nearby building, the existing town hall building was renovated to house the Windsor Regional Library. The new full-service branch library at the edge of the Town Green was dedicated on November 3, 1996, and has served the people of Windsor and surrounding areas ever since.
