Meet the authors
Come to your local library to meet authors including noted local novelist Jean Hegland, a panel from the Romance Writers of America, and author Stephen Elias of the new Nolo Press title The Foreclosure Survival Guide.
Library closures & maintenance
The Library will be closed November 11 for Veterans’ Day and will offer limited services Wednesday, November 12 due to major computer maintenance. During this maintenance, November 11-12, you will not be able to search the library catalog, reserve or renew materials online. Checking items out may take a bit longer all day Wednesday; thank you for your patience!
We will also be holding a staff development day on Thursday, December 11. All branches will be closed that day. Please see the Library Closed Days page for a complete list of upcoming holiday and other closures.

BOO! Wear your costume. Halloween fun for everyone! Preschool storytimes, family storytimes, Winnie the Witch puppet shows. Teens can enter a pumpkin carving contest, and school-age kids can even read to a dog wearing its own Halloween costume. Different events at different library branches.
