Use the research computers in the library for free access to job hunting and career research, with no time limit.  On the main page of these computers, click Job & Career Kiosk for a quick list of top starting points.

JobScoutNew in the list: JobScout – take lessons, earn badges, and learn basic Internet skills to find a job.  Many employers these days expect online job applications or e-mailed resumes.  We recommend JobScout for your friends who need to get up to speed on the Internet in order to apply for jobs!

Ask a librarian to show you the location of the research computer at any regional library.

Library and system closures March 30 – April 1

All Library branches will be closed Saturday and Sunday, March 30 and 31, in observance of César Chávez Day and Easter.

All Library websites, automated phone renewals, My Account, and other systems will be unavailable Monday, April 1 starting at 7 a.m. while we replace some network communication equipment.  The systems will be available again by 7 p.m.

Late start for tax season

Tax calculatorMost IRS tax forms will be late to arrive in the libraries, due to last-minute tax law changes.

Free tax help sessions will begin in February at some library branches.
