Use the research computers in the library for free access to job hunting and career research, with no time limit. On the main page of these computers, click Job & Career Kiosk for a quick list of top starting points.
New in the list: JobScout – take lessons, earn badges, and learn basic Internet skills to find a job. Many employers these days expect online job applications or e-mailed resumes. We recommend JobScout for your friends who need to get up to speed on the Internet in order to apply for jobs!
Ask a librarian to show you the location of the research computer at any regional library.
You can also browse our list of career resources anytime, by going to the Careers & Jobs page on our website.
April is National Poetry Month, so our librarians decided to start a new blog just for April: sonomalibrary.org/blogs/poem
Every day during April, a different poem will appear.
Happy Spring and Happy National Poetry Month!

Join readers throughout Sonoma County in celebrating The Big Read, the month when everyone reads the same book!
The libraries will have book discussions as well as special events during March 2013 as part of The Big Read.
