SCL Teen Idol @ Healdsburg

The Healdsburg branch had their SCL Teen Idol program yesterday afternoon.  The room was filled to capacity as 9 contestants went for the $75 first place prize.   The final branch competition will be held this Friday, May 1st @ 7 p.m. in Windsor.

SCL Teen Idol @ Petaluma

The 4th branch to host the Sonoma County Library Teen Idol program was Petaluma.  With a crowd of 100 people watching, 14 teens sang their hearts out.   The last branch competition is this Friday, May 1st @ 7pm at the Windsor Branch.  We hope to see you there!  The winners at the Petaluma branch were:

1st Place:  Beth Anne:  sang “I feel Pretty”
2nd Place:  Jennifer:  sang “Settlin”
3rd Place:  Marley:  “Daughters”

SCL Teen Idol @ Cloverdale

Another successful SCL Teen Idol program at the Cloverdale library.  Last Monday, April 20th, six contestants sang to their favorite tunes in hopes of winning the $75 first place prize.  The next Sonoma County Library Teen Idol is at the Healdsburg branch on Monday, April 27th @ 3:30.  Congratulations to the winners from the Cloverdale branch:

1st prize, Kelsey sang “Much More”
2nd prize, Marissa sang “Walk Away”
3rd prize, Nicole sang “Capri”

SCL Teen Idol @ Rincon Valley

The Rincon Valley branch was the next host for the Sonoma County Library Teen Idol.  On April 8th 16 contestants shared their songs with 80 members in the audience.  The winners at the Rincon Valley branch were:

1st place:  Jessie sang “Wash by the Water”
2nd place:  Victoria sang a song by Celine Dion
3rd place:  Bree sang “Take a Bow”

We would like to give a big round of applause to every teen who competed.  The next SCL Teen Idol will be at the Cloverdale branch on Monday, April 20th at 6:30pm.   We hope to see you there!

 

Sonoma County Teen Idol Program

The very first Sonoma County Teen Idol Program was hosted by the Northwest branch last Friday night.  They had 10 teens compete for the $75 first place prize.  The winners were:

 1st place:  Peter sang “My Girl”
2nd place:  Joy sang “Held”
3rd place:  Karla sang “Save Room”
