i guess these are decent books but the library ignored the goof work that is happening at marvel and dc.. The Siege! The Golden Age and all these other epic events are totally not available through the scl.. whats up with that? Brian Micheal Bendis FTW!
I think graphic novels are great because manga-kas can so easily portray emotions and thoughts through pictures, with only a squick of dialogue. It brings back memories of picture books. I liked Story of Saiunkoku because of the historical feel and the slight current of intrigue and adventure. Plus, the pictures are so beautiful. C’est jolie!
