| 21 July 2012 With these Hands: Southwest Pottery. Presented by Jill LeCrone from the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Early Southwest pueblo pottery was used for religious and utilitarian purposes, and Pueblo women handed down techniques for creating pottery to the next generation. Today, pueblo pottery has evolved into a fine art that is collected and admired, such as the pottery on view at the de Young Museum There is no charge for admission. Presented in the Forum Room of the Petaluma Library & funded by the Friends of the Petaluma Library. | |
