John P. Talbot was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California and grew up with the stories and people of Bennett Valley, A graduate of the University of Oregon, he became a successful salesman in the securities industry, in which he is still active. A resident of Lodi, California since 1965, John is an avid student of California and western history.
