Mark Sloan, MD, author of Birth Day, A Pediatrician explores the Science, the History, and the Wonder of Childbirth, has been a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics for more than 25 years. Dr. Sloan practices at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa, and was their Chief of Pediatrics from 1997-2002. He now takes care of the children of many of his original patients.
