Roland R. Gangloff specializes in Cambrian Spongiomorphs and Late Cretaceous dinosaurs and taphonomy. He is Emeritus Associate Professor of Geology and Geophysics and former Curator of Earth Science at the University of Alaska Museum of the North. He is presently a Visiting Scholar at the University of California Museum of Paleontology in Berkeley and continues to publish research articles and academic books while volunteering with the fossil collections at the Museum of Paleontology.
