Yoland V. Martinez, M.A. in School Leadership, taught high school language arts in Spanish and English for 22 years. Her writings have been published in newspapers and books. She authored two bilingual poetry books: "Poemas Cotidianos de una Latina -- Everyday Poems of a Latin Woman," and "La Vida en Versos--Life in Verses." She lives in Santa Rosa, California.
