The Friends will be at the Santa Rosa Original Certified Farmers Market, 1350 Maple Ave, Veterans Memorial Building on Saturday, July 12, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon with a fine selection of $1 mysteries, cookbooks and gardening books, childrens books and other bargains.

Friday from 3 - 7:30 p.m. - Preview sale - $5 admission
Saturday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Half Price day
Monday from 2 - 7 p.m. - Bag Day - all books $4 a bag

The Sonoma County Fairgrounds is located in Santa Rosa, California. Take Highway 101 to Santa Rosa. Exit 101 onto Highway 12, Eastbound, towards Sonoma. Exit Highway 12 at the Downtown exit. Upon reaching the surface street, Bennett Valley Road, you will come to a stoplight, and just in front of you on your right will be the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.

If you are coming by Highway 12, Westbound, take the Downtown exit, and turn left at the stop light. This will lead you to the entrance to the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.

Parking: Fair parking fees are normally $4.

At the Faire: You will find literally thousands of donated books--fiction and nonfiction, current titles and old favorites. Among them are choice art books and cookbooks as well as exceptional bargains in children's books, collector's editions and computer books with CD-ROMs. A large variety of movies on VHS and DVD, books on tape and CD, and music tapes and CDs will also be available at bargain prices.

You'll be helping support the Santa Rosa Libraries (all Faire proceeds benefit the Santa Rosa branches of the Sonoma County Library), while working with a congenial group of other volunteers.

We welcome donations of good used books, records, sheet music, tapes, CDs and videocassettes. Please see the Santa Rosa Friends page for more information about donating and Friends membership.
