Stress-Free Reading Practice for Beginning Readers

The patient, nonjudgmental attention these dogs offer helps reluctant readers gain confidence and improve their reading skills.

Reading to Dogs programs are offered at the following branches: Calendar

  • Central Library – Saturdays, 11:00 am-12:00 noon
  • Healdsburg Regional Library – Saturdays, 11:00 am-12:00 noon
  • Northwest Regional Library – Thursdays, 3:30-4:30 pm
  • Petaluma Regional Library – Tuesdays, 3:00-4:00 pm
  • Rincon Valley Regional Library – Thursdays, 3:00-4:00 pm AND Saturdays, 1:00-2:00 pm
  • Rohnert Park Regional Library – Wednesdays, 3:30-4:30 pm AND Saturdays, 2:00-3:00 pm
  • Sebastopol Regional Library – Wednesdays,3:30-4:30 pm
  • Windsor Regional Library – Tuesdays, 3:00-4:00 pm
