Student Research Center is a great place to start when you're looking for information for middle school and high school homework assignments.

You can search for your topic and get results from:

  • Books & Encyclopedias
  • Biographies
  • Radio & TV News Transcripts
  • Country Reports
  • State/Province Reports
  • Primary Source Documents
  • Photos, Maps & FlagsCountry reports

You can also look things up in the American Heritage Dictionary or the Columbia Encyclopedia by clicking the Dictionary or Encyclopedia button at the top.

If you don't have a specific word or topic to search, you can browse through the subjects in Student Research Center by clicking any subject listed at the left. Then click the checkbox next to the sub-topics you're interested in, and click the SEARCH button.
