Updated daily, the online version of the World Book includes all articles from the printed encyclopedia, plus thousands more. A dictionary is also available.
Articles include pictures and maps. Most articles include links to related magazine articles and web sites.
Some articles include video or sound. Video and sound are not available on the library computers.
To search: Type a word or phrase in the search box, then click Go or press Enter on your computer keyboard.
To look up a word: If you don't understand a word in an encyclopedia article, double-click it to look it up in the dictionary.
To get help: Click Help at the top or bottom of the World Book page.
