Beginning August 5, Sonoma County Library's 3D Printing service and the MakerBot Replicator 2 will be hosted by the friendly folks at Petaluma Regional Library. The branch will offer Introduction to 3D Printing Workshops and individual printing sessions. Contact Petaluma Regional Library for more details.

Beginning June 3, Sonoma County Library's 3D Printing service and the MakerBot Replicator 2 will be hosted by the friendly folks at Guerneville Regional Library. The branch will offer Introduction to 3D Printing Workshops and individual printing sessions. Contact Guerneville Regional Library for more details. The MakerBot will move to Petaluma Regional Library beginning in August.

Proposed tax measure

Want to know more about Measure M, the Sonoma County Library Improvement Act? The measure would impose a 1/8 cent sales tax to be used exclusively to supplement existing funding for library operations, programs, acquisitions, construction and modernization throughout the incorporated and unincorporated territory of the County.

New Library Commission and JPA

A new joint powers agreement (JPA) for the governance of the Sonoma County Library is effective August 1, 2014.  This agreement was the result of a months-long review and negotiation process with participation from governments and citizens throughout the county.

With the revised JPA, the Library Commission was restructured and expanded.  The membership of the Library Commission is listed on the Library Commissioners page.
