Santa Rosa Libraries' Volunteer Opportunities

We are happy that you have chosen to volunteer at the library and hope that your time here will be enjoyable and fulfilling!

Become an Adult Volunteer

The main job for adult volunteers at the Northwest Regional Library is shelving books. This is an essential part of library services. The job requires strength and flexibility (reaching, bending, and pushing loaded book carts).

Most of our volunteers sign up for ONE 2-hour shift per week.

Ask at the Library for a volunteer application.

Become a Teen Volunteer

We have teen volunteer opportunities during the school year to help you meet your school volunteer hour requirements. We also have teen volunteer opportunities in the summer to help support the Library’s summer reading program for younger children.

To become a teen volunteer at the Northwest Valley Library, you must be in middle or high school. Most of our teen volunteers sign up for ONE 2-hour shift per week.
