The Wine Library sits physically in the back of the Healdsburg Regional Library.

The Wine Library, dedicated in 1990, is one of the most comprehensive collections of wine information in the world. In addition to a collection of 5,000 books—covering both the most recent literature and over 1,000 rare books dating back as far as 1514—the Library maintains subscriptions to some 65 periodicals and oversees IWRDB.org, an index to wine information for the global wine research community. The Library also serves as a historical archive of the North Coast wine industry.

As part of the Sonoma County Library system, the Wine Library receives some public funding through the County, but the Wine Library is dependent on private funding to sustain itself. Please consider donating or becoming an individual or corporate member to maintain and improve this gem of a resource.

The library is open the same hours as the Healdsburg Regional Library: 10–6 Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 10–8 Wednesday; and 10–4 on Saturday.
