Tax Forms & Information
Tax forms at the library: In January we start receiving forms and
instructions for most common state and Federal individual taxes. Pick up free forms while they
last at any regional library during library hours. Many libraries also
have binders of less-common Federal forms that you can copy using the library copiers (15 cents
a page). Please check at the reference desk of your library for help locating a specific form.
Update 1/16/2013: Some forms currently have no estimated ship date. Please check the link below for the current estimated dates when forms will ship out from the IRS. Forms will not be available until sometime after the shipping date.
The IRS has announced that most taxpayers can
begin filing simple returns on January 30. Due to recent changes in the tax laws,
some forms for more complicated tax situations will
not be available for paper filing or e-filing until February or March.
