Consumer Price Index

Consumer Price Index
- The latest Consumer Price Index (Cost of Living) information
from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Federal agency that compiles the Index.
Counting
California
- Access to data compiled from federal, state and
local agencies, "allows users to collate and integrate data by topic,
geography, title, and providers." Scheduled to shut down June 1, 2008.

The Economic Census provides a detailed portrait of the nation's economy
once every five years, from the national to the local level. The Economic
Census is actually comprised of the eight separate censuses listed below:

Census of
Agriculture
- The census of agriculture, taken every five years, is a
complete accounting of United States agricultural production. It is the
only source of uniform, comprehensive agricultural data for every county
in the Nation.
Census
of Governments
- Statistics on state and local governments including counties, cities,
townships, special districts and school districts. Data are obtained on
government organizations, finances, and employment. Organizations data
include location, type, and characteristics of local governments and
officials. Finances and employment data include revenue, expenditures,
debt, assets, employees, payroll, and benefits. Census of Government
reports in
PDF format are
available for every five years starting from 1992. Data for Federal, State and
Local Governments (including Schools) and
overviews
of related surveys are also available from the Census Bureau.

to dispense point-to-point driving directions.
Google Maps
- Is able to search general phrases and neighborhoods, like "santa rosa railroad
square" or "sf tenderloin."

Digital Map Database
- From the home page for the Tiger
Files. Generates high quality maps based on Census Tiger files. You do
need to have some familiarity with TIGER files in order to use this.
