The Wine Library Associates of Sonoma County will hold its annual meeting this year on November 1, 2013 at Healdsburg SHED. This year’s meeting will feature a presentation and discussion by writer, editor, lecturer, and food and restaurant consultant Clark Wolf, accompanied by delightful food from SHED and an exciting selection of California wines.
The discussion will focus on the state of the culinary universe in Sonoma County and beyond—a retrospective on the changing landscape of food and wine, the onset of culinary tourism, and what it means for the county in the coming years. In what direction are we headed, and what is most important as we forge the future of farming, wine, food and dining in Northern California and beyond?
The food and drink universe in Sonoma County has profoundly changed over the last twenty years; any observer of the rise of wine and food tourism will see that—but understanding how we got here and where we’re headed is a more provoking question. We are excited to share this evening with Mr. Wolf and have a productive and engaging discussion about our delicious and sustainable future.
