Symphony Concerts

Sonoma County Library is excited to continue the partnership with the Santa Rosa Symphony, begun in 2015, which allows us to offer free small-group ensemble symphony concerts at library branches around the county.

We have had many enthusiastic audiences of all ages at these performances. Among them was a family of four generations, including six-month-old Sarah and her eighty-eight-year-old great grandmother. Sarah gently moved with the symphony music on her great grandmother’s lap throughout the concert, and the lovely sight brought smiles to everyone in attendance.

Currently in its 90th season, Santa Rosa Symphony, the Resident Orchestra of the Green Music Center, is the third oldest professional orchestra in California, and the largest regional symphony north of Los Angeles. They Symphony is also recognized for having one of the most comprehensive music education programs in California, serving nearly 20,000 youth annually.

Seating for all Symphony Concerts is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
