What is hoopla?

Stream digital media with hoopla! Collections included in this platform are Comics, Music, TV, Movies, Audiobooks, and eBooks in all genres and age groups. eBooks and audiobooks and available in English and Spanish. All checked items automatically return themselves, so there are never any late fees.  Over 980,000 titles are available, both fiction and non-fiction.

Loan period: 21 days (eBooks, eAudiobooks and eComics) / 7 days (Music) / 3 days (Movies and TV Shows) 

Checkout limit: 10 items per month     Hold limit: No holds, materials are always available

How Do I get Started?

To sign up for a hoopla Digital Account go to hoopladigital.com and then follow these steps:

  1. Click Log In.

  2. If you are new to hoopla, click Sign Up Now.

  3. Choose your Library or Search for Sonoma County Library.

  4. Fill out the following information to set up an account: Click on Sign Up Now

    • Email address

    • Re-type email address to validate

    • Create a password

    • Re-enter password to validate

    • Enter your Sonoma County Library Card

    • Enter your Sonoma County Library Card PIN (security code)

Hoopla Digital Mobile App

Find the hoopla Digital Mobile App and download it FOR FREE by searching your device’s App Store

  • Then follow the same sign up directions above.
