2020 Election Dates


  • October 5, 2020: Vote Early at the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Office from October 5 - November 3
          435 Fiscal Drive, Santa Rosa
          Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
          (Open 7am - 8pm on Election Day)
  • October 5, 2020: Vote by Mail ballots mailed to all registered active Sonoma County voters
  • October 19, 2020: Deadline for Voter Registration Postmarked or Online Form Submitted
    Note: Same Day Voter Registration is available in CA
  • October 31, 2020 - 8pm on November 3, 2020: Polls open for in-person voting or vote by mail ballot drop off
  • November 3, 2020: Presidential Election


  • September 29, 2020: First Presidential Debate
  • October 7, 2020: Vice-Presidential Debate
  • October 15, 2020: Second Presidential Debate  CANCELED
  • October 22, 2020: Third Presidential Debate
