Sonoma County Reaches 1 Million Digital Checkouts on Libby App
For the first year ever, Sonoma County Library and readers in our community have reached a record-breaking 1 million digital checkouts during 2022 from the Libby app. The library provides readers 24/7 access to online media including eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMagazines through the award-winning Libby app, the library reading app created by OverDrive.
“We are excited to celebrate this special milestone with our patrons,” said Sonoma County Library Acting Co-Deputy Director & Collection Services Division Manager Jaime Anderson. “We heard from many community members during the pandemic that Libby has been a lifeline to them over the last few years. We’re proud to offer this free and diverse digital collection, and love that our community has used it to the fullest.”
The collection of over 100,000 titles serves readers of all ages and interests, and reader usage has grown every year. Check out what’s new, what’s available now, and much more in the Libby library!
